About these terms

We are a freight forwarding, sourcing and customs handling business. These terms cover the website you are reading, the companion application reachable from sign in, and the services described below. Specific engagements — a quotation, a shipment, a purchase order — may carry their own additional terms agreed in writing; where they conflict with this page, the specific agreement controls.

What we offer

Depending on what has been agreed with you, our services can include: sourcing and procuring products on your behalf, freight forwarding and customs clearance, warehousing and parcel handling, and the generation of trade documents (invoices, quotations and shipping paperwork). Through this website and the app, you can:

  • Send us an enquiry about a product, a shipment, or a general question.
  • Track a shipment or parcel using the reference printed on your paperwork or label — no account required.
  • Verify a document we issued, using the identifier printed on it.
  • Sign in to the account-based application to view your shipments, documents and (where applicable) manage staff, client or warehouse records.

Accounts

An account is issued to a specific person and is not to be shared. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for anything done through it while signed in with your credentials. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use this website, the app, or our services for anything unlawful, or for goods whose shipment is prohibited or restricted by applicable customs or trade law;
  • misrepresent the contents, weight, value or nature of a shipment or parcel;
  • attempt to interfere with, probe, or gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account or data;
  • submit an enquiry, document or upload that is fraudulent, infringing, or knowingly false.

We may decline an enquiry, refuse a shipment, or suspend an account where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.

Shipments, sourcing and customs

You are responsible for accurately declaring the contents, weight, dimensions and value of anything you ask us to ship, source or clear through customs, and for supplying any documentation customs authorities require. Customs clearance, duties and import/export restrictions are set by the authorities of the countries involved, not by us — we handle the paperwork and process on your behalf, but we do not control, and cannot guarantee, the outcome or timing of a customs authority's decision. Hazardous, restricted or prohibited items must be declared as such; undeclared hazardous goods may be refused, delayed, or handled at your risk and cost.

Documents and verification

Trade documents, invoices and shipping paperwork we issue carry a printed identifier that can be checked on our verification page. That check confirms a document was issued by us and when — it does not display the document itself or its contents. Keep your own copies of documents we issue to you; verification is a check, not a document store.

Quotations and payment

A quotation is an estimate valid for the period stated on it, not a fixed price unless we confirm it as such in writing. Fees, freight charges, customs duties and any storage or handling charges are payable as agreed for the specific engagement. We may withhold goods, documents, or further service until amounts properly owed to us are paid.

Liability

We will perform our services with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by the governing law stated below, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (such as loss of profit or business opportunity), or for delay, loss or damage caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control — including customs authority decisions, carrier or third-party courier action, and events commonly described as force majeure. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or that we reasonably believe poses a security or fraud risk, and we will tell you why where we are able to. You may stop using our services at any time; charges already incurred remain payable.

Intellectual property

The content of this website and the app — text, layout, graphics and the SuhagLTD name and marks — belongs to us or our licensors. You may view and print it for your own reference in connection with our services; you may not republish or reuse it commercially without our permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update; continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
